3D PRINTING & PROTOTYPING

OVERVIEW

3D printing is a fast and cost effective method to analyze your component designs before committing to the high cost of tooling manufacturing for production batches. Our 3D printers can produce parts in PLA and ABS plastic. Whether you’re looking for a quick prototype, a durable, end-use part, or custom production batches, we can help.

Ultra fine layer thickness creates accurate, clean, smooth and highly detailed 3D models for a variety of applications:

RAPID PROTOTYPING

Prototyping service helps design and engineering teams turn their ideas into real products quickly and efficiently by giving the possibility to print prototypes directly from CAD files, allowing designers to receive real-time product feedback and concept testing.

DESIGN ON DEMAND

No 3D CAD model? No Problem! Our team of engineers and designers are ready to help with the best solution. Based on your request, we can design and create a complete 3D CAD model with 2D drawings.

3D SCANNING & REVERSE ENGINEERING

3D scanning refers to the rapid capture of data in order to define complex shapes by utilizing photogrametric technology. The output from this process is called a “cloud of points”. Point clouds can then be triangulated into a polygon mesh to generate an STL file which is suitable for 3D printing and CAD design.  Further processing may be required to develop a 3D solid model for reverse engineering, or compared to the original design for computer aided inspection.

FULL OBJECT SCAN

If you are looking to have your object scanned and converted into a usable 3D CAD complete model with 2D drawings having only the part to go by, we have the solution for you. We can come onsite and scan your part, or you can ship it to us

PERSONALIZED SCAN

Some objects are a little different, some of them are unique, and the possibility to eternalizing them is priceless. For instance, what about wedding figurines, being not just any figurine but an exact replica of the couple who just got married. Wouldn’t that be cool?

Choose the Prototyping process that's best for you

How you get your product

Regular process for prototyping consists simply in uploading files and we will ship the part to you. For In-house scanning of small parts you can ship your components to us, On-site scanning will be subjected to our covering area. Every prototype and scan is different and depending on size, volume and complexity, please visit our quoting page and get your estimate for your project.

Deliverables

Although the typical file delivered will be STL for 3D printing, many standard 3D files can be produced including Solidworks, Solid Edge, 3mf, AutoCad, STEP, IGES.
Typical turnaround for a simple project is 3-5 business days. If CAD modeling, post-processing, and/or design is involved, the turnaround time varies according to complexity.
